kia ora, wilkommen. i’m Rachel.

photographer, primary school teacher, and mum to two little ones. time moves fast, and capturing moments as they unfold helps me hold onto the smallest of details.

i love being outdoors, in beautiful light, with camera in hand, creating images that feel true to who you are right now, at this exact stage.

because the photos we make together will be cherished for many years longer than the one in which they’re taken.

portraits

portraits are for right now, for who your kids are at this age, how small their hands still are, how your family looks and feels in this season of life. portraits are that one job on the to do list which you’ll always regret not ticking off.

i shoot outdoors, in natural light, in locations that mean something to you: a favourite beach, a local park, your own home or backyard. sessions are relaxed and unscripted.
