vienna was the first german-speaking place i’d visited since i left germany in 2013, so it felt comfortingly familiar to be back surrounded by die deutsch sprache :). josh works for an awesome company who have a factory in austria, so after a team trip to riegersburg, he extended his flights and met me in vienna for an extended weekend trip. we even managed an international day trip to bratislava, where it surprised us how different things can be in such a short distance. again, we were lucky with the weather – blue skies and sunshine – perfect for exploring, bike riding, swimming and beers in the sun. by far though, the most memorable part would probably be the mini hot rod tour we did, zooming round for a tour of the incredible buildings of vienna, turning heads at every corner, smiling and waving like celebrities – it was hilarious. they were nippy little cars to drive too, such fun!

Beautiful photos Rachel, it made me remember my trip to both cities I made 2 years ago 🙂 cheers from Lisbon, PedroL
